what colour backsplash?

we have just installed new kitchen cupbourds that are white. the floor is tongue and grooved wood that is 100 years old so we sanded and clear varnished. the countertop is shiny black tiles and the walls are painted a heritage colour, gettisburg grey which is a greeny grey colour, so the backsplash would be installed on this colour walls. i have no idea what colour backsplash would go with this colour combination. help!
