Kitchen sink is one of the most often used items in the kitchen. It is used during cooking, baking, cleaning etc. That is why it has to be in the size and shape that would match your needs and with all the other items in your kitchen.
Most popular sinks are made of stainless steel. These come in many shapes (round, square, oval or anything that you desire and can think out) and with different number of bowls that may be in various sizes. Most common one is with one bowl, but the one with two bowls is also getting more and more popular. And then there are sinks with three bowls. In that case, there are two large ones and one small one in the middle of them for forks, spoons and knives. A downside of having a steel sink is that it only comes in gray colors.
Then there are ceramic sinks. These usually have ceramic coating, with cast iron underneath it. These are not very popular anymore, because they tend to break even during a minor collision.
In addition to these two, there are granite sinks. These are gaining their popularity because in spite of its high price, it also provides long life and stabile visual appearance.
